Living the Promise Campaign
A campaign for the history books...
In December 2020, UC Riverside will close the books on Living the Promise, our first comprehensive fundraising campaign. Launched in 2016, Living the Promise set an ambitious goal to raise $300 million. With the world's focus turning to STEM, the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering was responsible for a large portion of the university's total campaign goal - 18 percent, or $55 million. With the help of BCOE's generous donors, friends, and community, the college ended the 2019-20 fiscal year with less than $1.5 million left to raise in the last six months of the campaign. The campaign has produced new endowed chairs, fellowships, and scholarships for BCOE along with additional support for research, student professional programs, lab equipment and instruments. Let's go Highlander engineers - we're almost to the finish line!
